Prize Suppliers

Australian Radio Network Pty Limited (ABN 95 065 986 987) of 3 Byfield Street, Macquarie Park, NSW, 2113 (‘ARN’).

Competition Period

Commences Thursday 2 nd November 2023 at 9.00am (AEDT).

Concludes Thursday 15 February 2024 at 10.00am (AEDT) or whenever the Prize has been awarded.

How to Enter

During the Competition Period:

a) Entrants must be registered to attend Heard 2024 on Thursday, 15 February 2024 at the Ivy, Sydney.

b) Entrants must attend Heard 2024 on Thursday, 15 February 2024 at the Ivy, Sydney and be present for when the Prize is drawn.

c) Only one entry is allowed per person.

Entry to the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

This competition will be advertised via electronic direct mail.

Entry Restrictions

An entrant is eligible to win the Prize if they:

a) are a permanent resident of Australia;

b) are over the age of 18 years at the time of entry; and

c) are available to attend the Taylor Swift concert in Sydney on the date specified as part of the Prize. Entrants unavailable to attend will forfeit their entry.

Directors, management, employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its member networks, or event sponsors, are not eligible to enter.

Draw Details

This is a game of chance.

The Promoter will conduct a random electronic draw.

The draw will be conducted by the Promoter at Heard 2024 between 9.00am and 2.00pm (AEDT) on Thursday 15, February 2024 at the Ivy, Sydney.

The Promoter’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Notification of Winner

The winner will be notified in person at Heard 2024 on Thursday, 15 February 2024 between 9.00am and 2.00pm at the Ivy, Sydney.

The winner will then be contacted after winning via email within 7 days to organise delivery of the Prize.

Prize Claim Details

The Prize must be claimed at the time of notification, or as otherwise specified by the Promoter.

Unclaimed Prize Arrangements

If the Prize is unclaimed, the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to redraw the Prize in the event an entrant, who was initially deemed to be the winner, is unable to satisfy any of these Terms and Conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, if the winner is not present when the Prize is drawn, they will forfeit the Prize and the Promoter will redraw the Prize.

Prize Details

There will be 1 Prize winner who will win:

(1) One double pass to ARN’s corporate box at Accor Stadium, Sydney to see Taylor Swift live in concert on Monday 26 February 2024 (valued at $2100 (incl. GST)).

The Prize is not exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. If the Prize is found to be for sale or on-sold, it will be cancelled and will not be reissued.

The date for the Prize is set by the event promoter and changes to the time and date is at their discretion for the Taylor Swift tour. Tickets to events cannot be amended or extended. Tickets are subject to standard ticket terms and conditions and are subject to change. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winner must comply with the Prize Supplier’s and event promoter’s requirements. The terms and conditions which apply for the use of the tickets at the time they are issued to the winner will prevail over these terms and conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.

If the winner does not accept the date of the Prize, they will forfeit their Prize. 

The Promoter reserves the right to request that the winner provide proof of age and/or identity prior to awarding the Prize. Identification considered suitable for the verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter and/or Prize Supplier in its absolute discretion.

The winner is advised that tax implications may arise from them winning the Prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting the Prize.

Supply of an alternative prize

If we are unable to provide the winner with the Prize (or part of the Prize), we will supply an alternative prize (or that part of the prize) of equal or greater monetary value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

Suspension, cancellation, modification or termination of the competition

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are not able to conduct the competition as anticipated, we may, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, disqualify any entrant, or subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the competition.

Privacy

The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. Entrants’ personal information will be collected, used and disclosed as set out in Commercial Radio & Audio’s Privacy Policy (www.commercialradio.com.au/Privacy).

Liability excluded

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and/or Prize Suppliers will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, expense or personal injury suffered or sustained by any entrant in connection with the competition including the Prize or the taking of the Prize.

Unless expressly stated, all other costs and expenses associated with taking the Prize become the responsibility of the winner.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. The Promoter and all entrants irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of New South Wales.

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire terms and conditions between the entrant and the Promoter with respect to the Promotion. The Promoter may alter, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion and will only provide Entrants with notice of substantial amendments.
